The new series ALMOST HUMAN by J.J.
Abrams/J.H. Wyman is set 35 years from now in 2048 Los Angeles when human
police officers are paired with humanoid robot partners. To find the sets
around the city look for futuristic police squad cars (Fords underneath),
motorcycles, bar code license plates, prop Quick Volt stations , Quick Stands
and half-robot human police officer John Kennex (Karl Urban) walking with his
half-human robot partner Dorian. Almost Human is filmed in Vancouver and
tonight (Oct 30th, 2013) they are filming on Powell st and Jackson
st downtown Vancouver. Almost Human
premieres Monday, November 4th on FOX in the U.S. and Global in Canada.
